Clinique : Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

I have been in love with Clinique’s chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, and was wondering to try it out for ages. Now that I have a chance for it, I bought ( get ready .. ) not only 1, but 10 of them… yes, I am  now officially broke, but I can’t resist the temptation of having them on my make up box.
Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm offers 16 different colors for you to choose, and yes, they are all great ( at least that’s what I thought). So let’s the review begin.

Details :
Super-nourishing balm is loaded with mango and shea butters. Just what dry, delicate lips need to feel comfortably soft and smooth. Sixteen natural-looking lip tints in all, each with a subtle sheen.

Ingredients :

Doesn't have it on the website but I did remember having them on the brochure on the packaging, I'll find it later.

My Review on the website :

This one is new J, usually when I try to find a product or been using it, I often go to its website and check what they have in store. Since I’ve been working at a startup, where I spend mostly my time checking out websites, I always feel that some website doing a great job for their products and some don’t. So here it goes…

I know that Clinique has lots range of products, from skin care to perfume, but it mostly do Skin Care ( which reminds me that I am trying their anti - aging product and are thinking to make a review in a month, so at least I will give them a subjective review J ), anyway, the website has lots of going ons, lots of words and not enough picture, and the colour base is white ( but I guess because they want to do the selling from the website, so they do white base ). I wish they have more picture and less words, or at least they have enough introduction for a product, but as I scroll down, they have customer review on the product, which also help you to decide on buying.

I still think that a beauty products need to have a beautiful website, but I guess Clinique is sure about their product they feel they don’t have to have a great website? Hhmmm, not sure if I like that confidence.

Overall review, I gave 2 of 5 for the website.

Packaging :

A chubby stick ( rolling my eyes up), beautifully made, and at the end of it, when your stick has shorten, you can roll it, to make it longer again. The cap and the bottom is silver while the center is the colour of the Chubby Stick you are buying.

Texture :

Soft and creamy, when you apply it on your lips, it un-noticeable, but after a minute or two, the colour start to show, and believe me, its BEAUTIFUL. I bought 10 colour, and have tried them on, even the red one feels good on my lips. Love love love the feel of it. Good job Clinique.

How To Apply :

I don’t think you need to moisturize your lips, because the product moisturize your lips too. Just put it on, and if the colour ( ie red) is too much for you, then smudge it with your fingers and problem solves.

Mix and Match :

Its new for me, because I think that each colour has its own beautiful-ness, but then I try to mix a purple with a red ( been into this Korean style where your lips is red in the middle ), and it didn’t disappoint me.
My Lips Situation :
Soft ( hehehehehhe ), a lil bit dry sometimes, but thank God there is no break out.

My Review :

Love love love the product. I can wear it anytime, specially to work, where I’m practicing work day ( I live and work in Bali where you can wear your most casual dress to work, and since I’m into make up, its not being used for such a period of time, and in order for them not to go waste I’m applying them again now at my work day, you’ll understand when you read my post on Working and Living in Bali  ).
The product moisturize my lips, it makes my lip look softer and kissable ( ok so I over exaggerate it), but it does makes it look like so. Hah., It doesn’t feel sticky and that is important.

My Rate :

10/10
